Understanding Your Physical Body
- You can access your flow state on demand by using your physical body to hone in to all the other senses.
- Your body tends to mask things so it can keep going, but it can only mask things for so long. You have to pay attention to your body.
What’s Missing Right Now In Physical Therapy
- Most physical therapists have the best intentions at heart. However, their intentions lean more toward getting the body back to 90% or better than they had prior to therapy. However, many people aren’t prepared to take on everyday tasks because they probably have not been mindful of their bodies for so long.
- A lot of the time, physical exercise is mainly for aesthetics, but it doesn’t really deal with getting you in tune with your body.
- You don’t necessarily have to have a certain body fat percentage to know how to do things with your body.
What FE:AL Teaches You
- In order to feel everything, you need to be active about it. Accept an all-embracing form of living. There is no stagnation involved in this whole human experience.
- Everything has its motions and you have your own rhythm. You have your own capacity to figure out what that is – and you’ve done it before. You just didn’t call it that. It’s the same way when some people don’t realize that a road trip can be a meditative experience.
Once you start to notice your body a little bit more, your body will tell you what it needs. And everything just starts to connect and align.
