Microdosing isn’t a standalone, magic silver bullet to improve everything in your life. Rather, it’s a cutting-edge technology that’s becoming more available for those who are looking for natural, holistic ways to become more effective in their lives. But it’s just a small piece of a larger overall wellness strategy aimed at achieving a more balanced life.
Other key components include meditation to help calm the mind and body, which I practice daily alongside a weekly microdosing protocol, as well as physical exercise, journaling and sharing with men’s group members. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who brought transcendental meditation to the western world, always used to say that it doesn’t matter how long people meditate – that even in a shallow dive, someone is going to get wet.
These various practices that I’ve started to synthesize into my health routine have allowed me to see a massive impact in my quality of life. The result has been a significant reduction in anxiety, sustained increase in daily energy and higher productivity. However, what works for me might not translate for others. Psychedelic medicine has been reframed in recent years as more than just a pathway to creative expression; it’s increasingly being recognized as a way to energize individuals as part of a consistent, overall wellbeing practice.
As a Third Wave certified coach, I’m one of several torchbearers relaying this important message to the public at large. Microdosing, in conjunction with other healthy practices, helps people live a transformed life that feels complete.
